Jini M. Hanjian is the Research Coordinator of the Research and Demonstration Unit (RDU) in the Department of Aging and Mental Health, Louis de la Parte Mental Health Institute, USF. The RDU provides research, computer and technical support to the Department's research projects and activities. Dr. Hanjian has been the Managing Editor of the Journal of Mental Health Aging since 1997.

Currently Dr. Hanjian is involved in the following projects: the Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging conference and regional coalition development, and research support. She received her doctorate in applied anthropology, May 2000, from the Department of Anthropology, USF, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the School of Aging, USF in August 2003. Her primary research interests are family and practitioner interactions, mental health and social service systems (children and older adults), program evaluation and management, applied and rapid research methodologies, coalition development and impact, and quality improvement in social systems.
